We've heard that some of you are a bit confused about the purpose of TrueNorth. We apologize for being the cause of that confusion! We're hoping to clear up some of your questions and give you a better understanding of what TrueNorth is all about.
TrueNorth is a new ministry that is beginning this fall at FPC North Shore. Our desire is that TrueNorth will become a community in which Young Adults, ages 18 - 30, currently attending FPC, as well as those who have attended FPC in the past, can become involved in deepening their relationship with the Lord and in growing their understanding of how faith in Jesus Christ shapes the way we live our lives.
Large Group fellowships will take place one Friday every month. At Large Group fellowships, we will have a time of worship, a short message, and a time of fellowship with other Young Adults from TrueNorth.
Small Groups will meet two times a month, usually during the second and fourth weeks. TrueNorth's Small Groups will be a time of really delving into the Word and deepening our faith. Small Groups are important to TrueNorth because they are the means by which we can share joys and struggles and pray for one another.
